Sharing some thoughts on what to eat. We are constantly bombarded with the latest and greatest products.
Information is great! Too much information isn’t so helpful. If you are overwhelmed by all the advice, simplify!
For our family, I have a list of what we avoid. I can still find kitchen shortcuts without bringing in items that aren’t as stellar.

Living on the edge with this one!
I thought I would hold off purchasing my planner until we returned from vacation. You are looking at one of the last six dated planners! This is my favorite planner.
Thank you for quick and wonderful service!!

A few random thoughts on this warm morning…
🩵Waiting until conditions are all favorable to do something will almost guarantee it not happening
🩵ignoring all the wonderful, well meaning but overwhelming information available on health and simply doing what I say I’m going to do is freeing
🩵not getting stuck in the weeds keeps forward progress
And a bonus …
🕶️ cute sunglasses are completely worth it!

Absolute new favorite! One of my goals for 2024 was to eat a salad everyday for lunch. This makes it so much easier.

Mowing season is here. While waiting for the boys, I bring a book…or three. LOL
One of my 2024 goals is to have a better cleaning routine in place. I’ve really enjoyed working through book. I’m finding all sorts of nuggets to apply.
I’d encourage you to grab a copy and work through it. 🩵

What’s for dinner?
Keeping it sane and simple for this busy day.
🩵peppery roast slow cooking
🩵sliced zuchinni to roast later in the afternoon
🩵baked potatoes for the fam bam
What’s on your menu tonight?

Fridays are refill and restock.
🩵 make any bulk mixes and refill what I keep in the fridge
🩵 check which items are empty and need purchased
🩵check staples to make sure I don’t run out
Eleven years THM strong has taught me a few things. Keep it sane and simple. Trends are great and have their place. BUT, it really is slow and steady that wins the race.

Wanted to share my two cents with you on something.
I’ve been seeing lots of “post menopause” women need to be lifting heavy bits running around lately.
I’m a fan of heavy weights. I’m a bigger fan of core and pelvic floor integrity!! We can lift heavy all day long but if we are not properly engaging our core and PF muscles it’s not going to do any good! In fact, it may even cause harm.
The first of the year everyone pushes their new subscription services. I’m a huge fan of . Before you hit subscribe though find out what they are promoting.
Better yet, find a pelvic floor physical therapist and get an evaluation. Your core will think you later!!

Been mulling this over in my mind for sometime. There’s a lot hogwash going around these days. 🤣
I’ve followed the THM principles for 11 years now. I’ve seen a lot of food fads come and go in my life…all 48 years of it!
🩵eating pickles or grapefruit all day
🩵excluding whole food groups
🩵low fat, high fat, no fat
🩵shiny space suits
No wonder we are seeing so much disordered eating. Not claiming to have all the answers but personally I’ve been trying to cut through all junk and build a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Here’s what I do know…
🎯 all food groups eaten in a hormone and blood sugar friendly are beneficial
🎯 moving our bodies in a reasonable and sustainable program is beneficial
🎯enjoying healthy self care is beneficial
Let 2024 be there to cut through all the hogwash and build a sustainable health journey for yourself.
