Our Pathways to Future Careers Interns have officially kicked off their internship journeys!

After starting the school year in the classroom with a focus on career readiness and essential soft skills, students took part in the Junior Achievement Program, led by Lyle Roggow from the Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation, and Kelsey Roberts from BancFirst. They polished their interviewing skills, and now they’re equipped with cover letters, resumes, and references to impress during their internship interviews.

These students will be spending 1.5 hours a day, 4 days a week, with industry partners, gaining hands-on experience in careers they aspire to pursue. One day each week, they'll be back in the classroom sharpening their soft skills, career readiness, and life skills—like financial literacy.
