🌟 Thanksgiving season is almost here, and with it comes the acceleration of college application deadlines. MeshEd is here to help high school seniors manage the stress of the application season —and to get ready for success! 🚀

📚 Our Art of the Essay course guides students to write an authentic and memorable personal essay. We also provide one-on-one tutoring with trained college application mentors as an additional service. With the January 1 Common App deadline fast approaching, we are offering a condensed 3-week program in December to help seniors write and polish their applications.

✨ For juniors, spring is the time to plan ahead and begin active research on colleges that are a good match for student interests. Email us now at [email protected] to schedule an informational call!

Plus, check out the results of our recent, grant-funded pilot at Middletown High School in CT! Students gave top ratings to our MeshEd courses and mentorship by local undergrad and grad students, highlighting growth in social-emotional skills such as project management towards achieving goals, engagement in course content, and growing competence in digital agility. This feedback fuels our mission to increase access to relevant and engaging project-based learnings for all adolescents.

We’ve had lots of great conversations about how important choice and voice is for middle school learners. We believe middle schoolers need more opportunities to choose high-quality electives like MeshEd project-based Action Lab courses. We also spoke about making career exploration in middle and high school more discovery and play-based.

We’re excited to expand our summer impact through partnerships in Summer 2025☀️

Thank you to all of the 23 high school students and 11 undergraduate students from NY, CT, & NJ who participated in the AI & Education Symposium last Saturday! Our High School Student Leaders were elected by their schools for excellence in computer science and related fields.

With the support from undergraduate mentors, high school students created topical questions for the panelists. High School students were the only audience members who were able to ask questions and they did a fabulous job!

Participating high school students will have the opportunity to apply to paid Edtech-related summer internships. MeshEd will coach these students through the application process and continue to coach them post-internship so that students can update their resumes and research their next work opportunity.

We are so grateful to have a community of undergraduate and high school students who are informed about ethical and creative uses of AI for learning.

It’s a wrap! Thank you to the over 250 friends who joined us Saturday for our AI+Education 2.0!!

Special Thank you to our partners, XQ and Betaworks for making this FREE day of learning possible—and shoutout to the high schoolers, higher ed students, and educators who spent their Saturday with us building community around creative, learner-centered uses of AI. We loved learning with you!🙏🙏❤️

We learned lots of cool tricks with new AI products that will save teachers and students precious time— and that will augment deeper learning experiences for learners of all ages. We had a rich mix of EdTech companies and organizations in the house— from nonprofits like Playlab and Ed3DAO to startups like ESAI to giant tech innovators like Google and Adobe. It’s the mesh of people and organizations gathered for common purpose that makes this Symposium magic.✨✨

Stay tuned for videos and photos from our Symposium that will post and share openly on our Website over the next week.
