Deosil-(teal) origins in Scottish Gaelic - in witchcraft, the term is used for stirring clockwise/sunwise in order to bring something to you - like a love position in order to bring love to you
Widdershins- (green) also has origins in Scottish Gaelic- in witchcraft, this term is used in stirring counter-clockwise in order to banish - like when making a healing broth in order to banish illness from one's self.
