Myers-Wilkins Elementary School

The Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner! It will be here next week (Feb 9-13th) in the Myers-Wilkins Library. We are trying to raise enough funds this year so that every child can go home with a book. We have a goal of $4,700 and the kids are tracking our progress towards the "pot of gold". Right now we are at about $1220. If you're able, please help us reach our goal! The fair will be open to families after school:

Monday 2:15-4pm
Tuesday 2:15-6pm (conferences)
Wednesday 2:15-4pm
Thursday 2:15-6pm (conferences)

Kids will be browsing the fair during their Media Specialist time and choosing their free book.

We have an exciting event on December 4th at Myers-Wilkins Elementary School! We will be hosting our first multicultural fashion show. If your student attends Myers-Wilkins we encourage you to sign up today, the whole family is invited!

Earlier today, our Girls On The Run team participated in their annual end-of-the-season 5K and what an experience it was! So many smilin' faces, a tremendously upbeat crowd, and a whole lot of cheering on each other!

Shoutout to our fantastic team of coaches for making it happen all season long - Sierra K., Melissa B., Sadie H., Katie G., Claudia C., and Maggie P.! You don't teach empowering life skills and build confidence overnight, you certainly don't do it without an amazing group of changemakers like the ones leading our team at Myers-Wilkins! 💖
