It is our mission to educate, equip, and engage diverse leaders and inspire civic involvement.

Curriculum consists of orientation in August and a 2-day retreat in September, a learning day one day a month for 7 months, monthly study group meetings, program exercises, and a 2-day retreat in May.

The Class of 2027 is headed to the lake! ⛵️

This weekend, they gather at Lake Lanier for the highly anticipated Fall Retreat.

For more than 40 years, Leadership Gwinnett classes have convened at Lake Lanier, and the retreat has set the tone for what this program is all about. Now it's the Class of 2027's turn.

Please join us in welcoming Charbel Aoun, LG Class of 2026, as our newest Legacy Society Member! 🎉

Charbel is brand new to our Network, and he's already investing in Gwinnett's future. He's the Founding Executive Director of the Georgia First Generation Foundation, guiding more than 1,000 first-generation students through mentorship, and an adjunct professor at Gwinnett Technical College.

To commit like this so early in his journey says a lot. His generosity helps us connect leaders, create access, and shape what's next for Gwinnett County.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation lost 2,977 lives.

We remember them, and we honor the first responders who ran toward danger so others could get out. Many never came home.

In the days that followed, neighbors, strangers, and whole communities came together to care for one another. That same spirit lives on in Gwinnett's firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and emergency teams, who show up for us every day.

Today, we pause to remember. And we thank those who serve.

Here's a peak inside a room our class never sees.

They will see the day it produces.

Our Regional Day Committee met the other week to start building one of the year's Learning Days, and every person at that table is an LG alum who volunteered to come back.

Learning Days don't arrive prepackaged. Our alumni volunteers help decide which rooms the class walks into and which leaders they hear from.

More than 200 volunteers are making the 2026-2027 program year happen. We are grateful for every one of them. 👏

Meet the newest members of the Leadership Gwinnett Foundation Board: Chuck Button, Class of 1991, and Jay Dennard, Class of 2012.

Chuck helped shape the Gwinnett we know today, serving as County Manager through the county's fastest-growing years. Jay leads the Gwinnett Hospital Foundation and serves as VP of Governmental and Community Affairs for Northside Hospital System.

Between them, more than 30 years of Leadership Gwinnett history and a shared commitment to the place we all call home. One helped build the framework. The other is shaping what comes next.

: As we gear up for an exciting year with the Class of 2027, we wanted to look back and celebrate the Class of 2026! 🎓✨

It has not been long since this group officially graduated, but their commitment to our community, and to each other, has not skipped a beat. From consistently connecting at local events to cheering on each other’s milestones, this class is the true definition of engaged leadership in action.

Here is a telling figure about their dedication: Over half of the Class of 2026 is already paying it forward by actively serving on committees for the incoming Class of 2027.
