Thank you so much to and for sponsoring our conference last week! The event was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without you. 😁 Thank you to all our speakers that participated in the entrepreneurship conference! You all had such great insight to share and we’re grateful for the opportunity to hear from you. Thank you to our conference planning team for putting in the time to make this event happen. For our last Keynote Speaker, we have Jason Amundsen from Locally Laid Egg company! Jason is a part of a Northland family, running a mission-based farm in Wrenshall, Minnesota. He helps create real food for neighbors, while treating his livestock and the planet well in the process. WOW! Yesterday was nothing short of amazing. We are so proud of our speakers for taking the stage and speaking on their experiences as entrepreneurs. Let me tell you, they crushed it! We can not thank them enough for giving back and providing the audience with such knowledgeable insight.

Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, and more who came out on a chilly day to support this student-run initiative. It meant the world to us!

Thank you SO MUCH to our sponsors who helped fund this event and supply materials we wouldn't have had otherwise. (Pro Print Inc. printed our beautiful brochures!)

Thank you to The Labovitz School of Business and Economics for making this conference an annual event and providing us student directors a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow.

Thank you to Sean Dumm for his incredible behind-the-scenes work! Sean helped with staging and did ALL the lighting, sound, and technical operations for the conference. Without him, yesterday wouldn't have been made possible!

Lastly, thank you to our faculty advisor, Katie Chernak, who gave us her time, patience, and advice. Katie works diligently as the Communications Specialist at LSBE and it is very evident that she cares for every student that walks into her office. Some leaders lead from the front, but Katie met us where we were and walked beside us till the very end.

Over the next week, we'll be recapping the conference and sharing photos, key insights from the speakers, and more. Stay tuned!

We have some exciting day of extras that will be happening in the lobby of MPAC today!

There will be two local non-profit organizations tabling all day! The Entrepreneur Fund and the Northland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are both dedicated to providing assistance for entrepreneurs at any stage of their business journey. Whether you have a business or just an idea - stop by and see what services they provide!
