We’re hoping to bring a little lightness and warmth to a rather drab and chilly spring by staging Harvey, a play which was made into a 1950 American comedy drama movie starring James Stuart. We offer this heartwarming and humorous show in the style it was created—chatty, frenetic at times, but well intended and hopeful.

When Elwood begins introducing Harvey around town, his embarrassed sister, Veta Louise, and her daughter, Myrtle Mae, determine to commit Elwood to a sanitarium, however, Veta realizes that she loves her brother and his invisible his best friend just as they are, and doesn’t want either of them to change.
