We’re honored to spotlight one of the voices helping guide this conversation. Someone grounded in tradition and deeply engaged with the questions of our time.
Ustadh Ḥāfiẓ Asad Khan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and is a graduate of the Madina Institute’s One-Year Intensive Associate’s Program in Islamic and Arabic Studies. Following the program, he continued his studies in the sciences of ḥadīth, uṣūl al-fiqh, and ʿaqīdah under the supervision of Shaykh Muḥammad al-Ninowy. His primary focus is in the science of ʿaqīdah, particularly the Ashʿarī and Māturīdī traditions, and the application of their theological frameworks to contemporary challenges.
He is completing an M.A. in Religion at the University of Georgia (expected May 2026).
Ustadh Asad currently serves as the Executive Director of Madina Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
