Come and join us for our annual maple sap boil at the school on Saturday, March 29th from 10-5. Come whenever and leave whenever! We will plan on having a potluck lunch midday in the timber frame pavilion and the sap will be bubbling away all day long!

Midsummer outdoor skills camp: Elementary focused, themes and activities will include shelter building, fire making/cooking, whittling, navigation, and other wildcraft.

Plant Sale! Saturday, May 18th, in the morning 9:30-12:00
The kids have been busy planting seeds, painting pots, and patiently watching the seedlings grow. We’ll have flower, vegetable, and herb starts as well as perennials and house plants!

will have garlic and daffodils bouquets

Possibly other makers/farms as well- stay tuned!

And just like that, bare ground has returned and it feels like the beginnings of spring. So, let’s take a moment to appreciate the last few weeks of snow play that we had! We definitely got a lot of sledding, sliding, and snow sculpting in, but we all want more!

It’s been a weird winter here in Duluth, as evidenced by our lack of snowfall (over 70” had already fallen at this point last year!) and many days above freezing. Here’s to hoping that winter makes a comeback in the coming weeks!
