There’s still time to take that next step and join us at AIMM this Fall, but application and FAFSA deadlines are coming up fast!

Whether you see yourself performing on stage, producing in the studio, engineering sessions, or creating sound for media, your journey starts with taking that first step.

With Fall Term beginning October 5th, now is the time to get everything submitted! Complete your application, finish your FAFSA, and make sure you’re ready when classes begin.

If music has always been your passion, your GI Bill benefits could help you turn it into your next career.

Join us ONLINE Wednesday, September 16th at 7 pm for Veterans in Music: How to Use Your GI Bill for a Career in Music, a FREE virtual seminar created specifically for veterans interested in pursuing a future in music.

Joining us for the conversation will be AIMM Director of Career Services Mark Trojanowski and AIMM alumnus and U.S. veteran Craig Johnson (D.O.B.), who will share insight into building a career in music, making the transition into education, and the opportunities available to veterans at AIMM.

There are some lessons every audio engineer needs to learn… and properly wrapping a cable is definitely one of them. 🎛️😂

Our students are practicing the over-under technique and learning why something as simple as cable wrapping can make a BIG difference when it comes to protecting your gear, staying organized, and working efficiently in the studio or on a live production.

It may be a small skill, but it’s one you’ll use for the rest of your career.

At AIMM, it’s all part of learning how to work like a pro. 🎛️🎶

What an incredible Open House! 🎶🔥

Thank you SO much to everyone who came out and spent their Saturday afternoon with us at AIMM! We had an amazing turnout, and it was so exciting to see our campus filled with future students, families, musicians, producers, and creatives getting a chance to experience what AIMM is all about!

A huge shoutout to our incredible AIMM staff for all the work that went into bringing today’s Open House together, and to our talented student and alumni performers who absolutely crushed it and kicked off the afternoon with an amazing show! 🎸🎤🥁🎹🎸

We loved getting to show you around our studios and classrooms, introduce you to our instructors and staff, answer your questions, and share a little bit of the community that makes AIMM such a unique place.

🎓🎛️Graduate Spotlight: Dallas Sorrell🎛️🎓

Since graduating in Winter 2025, Dallas Sorrell has quickly established a strong presence in the film and television industry. He got an early start by gaining hands-on experience on set prior to graduation, building out his gear kit, and getting booked for production audio gigs.

Today, Dallas works on location as a Sound Mixer and Boom Operator while also working in Post-Production as a Sound Designer and Composer.

A notable milestone in Dallas's career was being featured in Voyage ATL Magazine, where he discussed his journey from a musical background to pursuing his passion for sound in film. You can read the full article via the link in his bio!

We are so proud of how far he has come and look forward to hearing his work in future projects!

What an incredible evening! 🎶

Last night, we had the opportunity to host an insightful conversation with Mark Trojanowski and Rhett Shull !

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. We loved seeing our students, staff, and community come together to hear Mark and Rhett share their experiences in the music industry, the lessons they’ve learned along the way, and their thoughts on where the future of music is headed.

We also want to give a big thank you to the AIMM staff who worked behind the scenes to bring this event together, and a special shoutout to Shane Driscoll for being our wonderful MC for the evening!

And, of course, thank you to Mark and Rhett for taking the time to share your experiences, perspectives, and advice with our community. Conversations like these are what make connecting and learning from working professionals in the music industry so valuable.
