When we learned that some of our students weren’t able to enjoy the swings with their classmates, the CES PTA wanted to help change that.

We’re so excited to share that PTA funds helped provide a new ADA-compliant accessible swing at Chattahoochee Elementary! 🎉

Because inclusion isn’t just about being invited to the playground—it’s about being able to play, laugh, and have fun together.

📖 Book Fair: Shop for new books before we close on Friday!

🍎 Curriculum Night: Come Thursday night 5:30-7:00 to hear about what your child will be learning this year!

☕ All Pro Dad Breakfast: Start your Friday morning with us at 7:15 in the cafeteria!

🚌 Volunteers Needed for Kindergarten Bus Helpers! 🚌

Help us give our newest Wildcats a great start to the school year!

During the first three days of school, we're looking for volunteers to help es**rt kindergarten students from their classrooms to the correct bus at dismissal. It's a simple way to make a big difference as our youngest students learn their new routines.

⏰ Volunteer shifts are short and take place during afternoon dismissal.

We are so excited to kick off the new school year! Please mark your calendars for our official
Meet Your Teacher Day on Friday, July 31st from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM.

To help manage parking and traffic flows, we ask that families try to attend during their designated timeslots based on the student's last name:
• Last Names A–H: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• Last Names I–N: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Last Names O–Z: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

What Students and Families Can Do:
• Meet Your Teacher & Classmates: Say a quick hello to your new teacher and chat with future friends!
• Tour Your New Classroom: Get familiar with the room layout so you're ready for day one.
• Drop Off School Supplies: Bring your school supplies early so your student's bag is nice and light on the first morning.
• Get Transportation Info: Check bus routes and numbers, and pick up your car rider tags.

Stop by the Cafeteria!
Before you head home, please stop by the cafeteria to complete these important steps:
• Apply for Free or Reduced Lunch: We strongly encourage all families to submit an application!
• Join the PTA: Find out how you can support our school community, purchase school spirit wear, and get involved.
• Visit Community Vendors: Say hello to our local partners and explore what programs they have to offer our families this year.

The year is winding down but we still have big plans for our 5th graders before their final walk on the last day of school! Please consider helping these special kids have an absolutely amazing last day of elementary school! Our PTA needs your help!

Chattahoochee Elementary School invites parents and community members to volunteer for our 5th Grade Carnival — a fun-filled celebration honoring our amazing Wildcats as they complete their elementary school journey!

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including snack distribution, bounce house supervision, game stations, setup assistance, face painting, and cleanup.

Your time and support will help make this event extra special for our 5th graders and create lasting memories as they celebrate this important milestone.
