Welcome to 2026! January is a great time for you or your child to learn the joys of playing the piano! For future musicians of all ages, you will learn math skills, emotion in music, multi tasking, small motor skills and more. The enjoyment I've experienced throughout the years has been priceless! No matter your age, you'll never regret the hours spent gaining your musical skills, or the pleasure in putting it into practice!

I come from a very musical background. I've played piano since I was a child. As an adult, I played professionally with the DSSO Sinfonia for 25+ years. I also played violin for many years, dabbled in guitar, and have sung quite a few vocal events. I have played piano in my church for many decades, and have also done quite a few vocal/piano concerts in local churches, etc.

I teach piano lessons in my Piedmont home. Lessons are 45 minutes long, and the weekly fee is $25 per lesson. If you have additional questions, or you're ready to sign up, you may contact me here, or text me me at 218-461-5742. I currently have Tuesday and Thursday openings.

I look forward to unleashing your un-tapped potential, or re-sparking the skills you once enjoyed! I look forward to meeting you!!

Sincerely, Ruth Cpin

Fall is upon us, evidently! And with school soon in session, we should be eager to give our children (and adults) the full scope of education by enrolling them in piano lessons.

Why piano lessons? It teaches children discipline, healthy emotions, math, multi-tasking, and growth in musical skills that will amaze their school music teachers in years to come.

I teach lessons to those who have completed Kindergarten, all the way into adulthood. I have had many wonderful children in my studio, and have enjoyed them a great deal! In addition, I have had many adults who were disappointed that they never kept up with the lessons they had as a child, and wish that they could do something about it. Well now you can! For those who have some musical knowledge, I have an adult beginner piano book that rapidly brings you up to the skill level you once had. For those who are just starting out, I will teach you one skill level at a time, and soon you'll be enjoying the sounds of music in your own home once again. Those who are getting "up in years" it is said that playing piano is one of the best ways to keep your mind sharp!

If you are interested in lesson for either your child or yourself, you can contact me here at Spin Piano Studio, or by phone at 218-525-4090. My name is Ruth Cpin (pronounced Spin ;) ) I look forward to spending time at the piano with you!!
