Thank you for helping make fiscal year 2022 the most successful year in the history of the Lake Superior College Foundation, both in terms of funds raised and funds distributed to students at Lake Superior College!

Thank you to our outstanding LSC Foundation Board of Directors! We held a Board Social this summer to thank three Board members whose terms were coming to an end. Diane Rauschenfels and Andy Reierson have both served on the Board for ELEVEN years, including staying on two extra years during the pandemic to help bring stability and leadership during an unusual time. Tom Reiner has served six years, including as Board Chair. Thank you Diane, Andy and Tom!

We also thanked outgoing Board Chair Terese Tomanek, who served as Board Chair for the past two years and will remain on the Board for another year as past chair, and welcomed incoming Board Chair Carl Crawford. Thank you for your leadership Terese and Carl!

We are excited to welcome our newest Board members: Brian Forcier (Titanium Partners), LeAnn Littlewolf (American Indian Community Housing Organization) and Jon Birkeland (Bell Bank)! Welcome and thank you for stepping up to serve.

We would also like to thank our Executive Director for the past nearly six years, Daniel Fanning, who will soon be moving on to a new role in the community. Thank you to Dan and his team (especially Ellen, Leah and Mike) for their tireless work and leadership, which has helped the LSC Foundation continue to grow and help even more students.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who helps support our students at LSC through their generous contributions to the LSC Foundation. Your support helps support student success and our community’s future workforce. From industry and community partakes, to employees, to alumni and many others, THANK YOU for helping support the dreams of our students. Your generosity truly helps make a positive difference in their lives, and helps their dreams come true while helping them to get on a successful career path. They are grateful, and so are we. Thank you! Here’s to continuing the momentum and impact into the new academic year and helping even more students be successful!
