Robyn Schroeder is a Sr. Project Manager for the Information Technology group at Cirrus Aircraft. She obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from St. Cloud State and a Master in Management from the College of St. Scholastica. Robyn has held a variety of IT positions in the Duluth area working in local government, health care, private business, and for a government contracting firm. Robyn would tell her college self not to focus on depth of a topic, but on breadth of information technology. You don’t know exactly where you’ll land so having a wide span of education knowledge would be helpful, then apply for jobs in the area you enjoy most. Attitude is more highly regarded than aptitude.

Paul Connolly is a Web Design Manager at The College of St. Scholastica. He graduated from The University of Minnesota Duluth, in 2003, with a BFA Graphic Design
Some fun facts about Paul are: outside his job with St. Scholastica and his family he also composes and performs music with an instrumental rock collective called Portrait of a Drowned Man. As one of three guitarists with this group, he has had the opportunity to compose music for a variety of films and perform live at venues all over the state.
What tips would you give to your college self? I would have definitely told myself to seek out more internships or opportunities to be mentored. Learning from those who are currently doing, and have the opportunity to work alongside them served me extremely well in the formative years of my career. I wish I would have done it sooner so I could have done more of it.
