This week the toddlers played in the water to beat the heat! They loved splashing and scooping the water. They also washed many cars and boats.

The preschoolers also had fun with water activities. They scooped water into funnels and pool noodles. Then they cleaned the playground toys with sponges. They ended the week by running through the sprinkler!

There is still time to register for Vacation Bible school next week!

This week the toddlers decorated the sidewalk in front of the playground with chalk drawings. They loved drawing roads and airplanes. Then they painted the sidewalk with water. The sun made the pictures disappear!

The preschoolers learned more about camping. They went on a scavenger hunt looking for bugs, sticks, leaves, and many other items. Then they used the monkey bars to make a tent.

This week the toddlers went camping! They roasted marshmallows over a campfire. They were very careful when adding more logs to the fire. They also loved to pretend to snore while sleeping in the tent.

The preschoolers focused on ice. They used their muscles to hammer ice and rescue animals. Then they ended the week by painting ice cubes. They also spent more time inside due to the smoke.

This week the toddlers spent a lot of time playing outside in the water tables. They started the week by washing the outside cars. Then they added Pom Poms and spoons to the water.

The preschoolers learned more about the beach. They built sandcastles with many different sized buckets. Then they explored seashells in water. Some had numbers and letters for them to identify.

This week the toddlers helped their teachers clean the classroom. They helped wash the play dishes, chairs, and blocks. They also spent time in the sandbox filling the dump trucks.

The preschoolers blew some bubbles. Then they did many crafts and sticker activities. Stickers were a great way to work our fine motor skills.

This week both the toddlers and preschoolers worked on a special project for their dad and/or mom. In addition, the toddlers did other coloring and art projects throughout the week.

The preschoolers also spent lots of time outside digging in the sandbox, hanging on the monkey bars, and going down the slides.

This week the toddlers worked on their balance by walking on rainbow colored stepping stones. They also spent time riding bikes and cars on the playground while dodging raindrops.

The preschoolers pretended to be pirates looking for treasure on the playground. They spent hours hiding a treasure box and trying to find it. They also made their own treasure boxes to take home.
