Mr. Froehlingsdorf's 6th-grade science students at Ordean Middle School need your help! With 36 students per class, the old lab stools are not going to work much longer. This makes it difficult for his 160 students to focus and fully engage in hands-on experiments.
By donating, you can help replace the outdated seating and create a safer, more comfortable learning environment. New, ergonomic stools will improve students' posture and focus, helping them to foster a lifelong love for science.
We need to raise $6,000 for new chairs. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to a safer and more effective classroom. Thank you for your support! ๐

Congratulations Yupeng! ๐๐ฅณ๐ We are very proud of you and wish you all the best in high school! ๐ซ
Tonight at the Duluth School Board meeting we recognized one of our exemplary students, Yupeng Chen.
Yupeng, an outgoing 8th grader at Ordean East, started his Spelling Bee journey when he participated in the districtโs spelling bee where he came in second place.
In February, he competed in the regional spelling bee which was held in Mountain Iron where he walked away as the Region 3 Champion and punched a ticket to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
Yupeng was one of 245 spellers at the national spelling bee and made it to the quarterfinals finishing 60th.
We couldnโt be more proud of this young man and his accomplishments. And we canโt wait to see what he does next. So congratulations Yupeng!
