We ended our summer session with our annual pizza party, saying goodbye to sweet friends as they start a new journey to big school. With all my heart I hope all things good as they venture out to meet new friends, and new adventures. We have an open door policy here at Wandering Roots, which means, we will always welcome you, our friendships are forever, so stop bye with a hello and run through the woods! Thank you dear families for all your love and support. Onward to new things🥰

Another successful 'Camp Fiddlehead'. So grateful for the beautiful weather! Tye dying, leather stamping, watercolors, swimming and old style playground, all so fun. When the van doors open to the tall timber campsite, thats when magic happens. Swinging hammocks, their own personal tent. Upon exploration this year they found Big Foots shelter, remains of fur which they feel was a coyote that was preyed upon. The creative thought processes that happen when kids are left to explore brings about their own inventive games, rules, and imaginary words. They make decisions without adult intervention and then figure it out through trial and error. I could go on and on of the benifits in the great outdoors. I want to thank parents and grandparents for showing up on family day which the kids look so forward to! Onward we go
