Give to CSS Day is tomorrow, March 19.
We are thrilled to share that an anonymous donor (thank you!!) has offered to match gifts to our EdD Student Research Fund up to $1,500. Every gift will go twice as far.

This is a chance to support the work our EdD students are doing to create real change in their communities.

As a member of the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED), we are part of a national network focused on leadership and practice-based research. Each year, CPED hosts a convening where doctoral students can share their work and learn alongside others from across the country.

We are working to support more of our students in attending and presenting at this conference. For many, this would be their first academic conference and an important step in developing their voice as scholar-practitioners and leaders.

Our students are doing meaningful work and have important stories to tell.
This support helps reduce financial barriers and expand access for more students to participate.

If you are able to give, thank you. If giving is not possible, sharing this opportunity with your network also makes a difference.

We are so grateful for your support!!

Learning happens best in community, and St. Scholastica’s Master of Education program is built with that in mind.

The fully online MEd uses a cohort model, so learners move through the program with a supportive group of peers. Students consistently share how much they value the caring faculty, the meaningful learning experiences, and the strong sense of connection they build along the way.

The program offers flexible electives and certificate options, including the popular K12 Reading Teacher Licensure, grounded in the science of reading.

Because we believe so strongly in learning alongside others, our Study Buddy Scholarship supports that approach. When you and a friend enroll together, each of you receives a $1,000 scholarship toward your first course. It is a simple way to begin your program with encouragement, community, and real savings.

St. Scholastica’s graduate EDU programs are already a good value, and the scholarship provides even more support.

Now enrolling for a January start. https://www.css.edu/academics/programs/graduate/master-of-education/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=css_aos_edu&utm_content=aos_edu_med&utm_term=master%27s%20degree%20in%20education&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19628624628&gbraid=0AAAAAD6-TGT4O26iExtuUesOeePVM-EiS&gclid=Cj0KCQiA9OnJBhD-ARIsAPV51xMhonSYXQeorBKU-txftKv6YjbX-4LrAGF934Io6LhFKahmxOj-D8QaArOrEALw_wcB

Tonight we gathered for a special dinner to honor the very first cohort of our Doctorate in Educational Leadership at The College of St. Scholastica.

Tomorrow, I will have the privilege of hooding them as they walk across the commencement stage.

This group began their studies in the middle of a global pandemic, facing uncertainty with strength, care, and resolve. They built community, asked hard questions, and brought compassion and heart to everything they did.

As the founding program director, it has been an incredible honor to walk along side these amazing students. Their work is already making a difference, and I know their impact will continue to grow.

Cohort 1, you have set the standard. Congratulations!

And, of course we had cake! 🎂

Did you know national guidelines recommend students get at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day? The Active Schools Minnesota initiative is increasing the time students are physically active at school. Find active school strategies at https://education.mn.gov/MDE/dse/health/act/.
