Project idea for this summer in case you haven't seen this.

Christmas in August: Children During the month of August, children collect gifts for a select group of North American missionaries. The missionaries use these items to replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers and minister to people in their communities who need to hear about Jesus.

Making sure everyone is aware of this in case you or families in your church want to take advantage of it.

As many churches are in transition over the summer, WMU will provide resources for families to use at home. For June, July, and August, these resources will be available for families each month: a video with our featured missionaries, a family missions activity, and the monthly GA World calendar as a free downloadable. Look for our posts as we introduce the June resources when these become available.

Your response to our weekly online GA lessons has been overwhelming. Thank you for supporting us as we resourced GAs and their families with our weekly lessons, activities, and resources. Our prayer for summer is that GA families will utilize these new resources for missions discipleship and opportunities to share God's love with your community.
