Prayers go out to the family of Jeffrey Walther, the pastor from St. Matthew's Church in Esko, and all the other families who have lost loved ones to covid-19. I also just found out on Friday that an immediate family member has covid-19, so for those of you that think it's going away, it's not. It's real and very contagious. So please, wear a mask around others and follow the rest of the guidelines so we can all get our normal lives back. For the safety of everyone, I have decided to hold off on dance classes for now until things get better.

With all the sadness in our world today, I hope our recital from last year brings you some much needed joy. I'm thinking about the dancers today especially, since our 2020 recital would have been tonight. I miss seeing them so much!

It's a perfect day to sort out and organize costumes for dance. I'm just hoping and praying we don't have to cancel our dance recital this year.

I just wanted to say "thank you" to everyone who has helped me get my classes online during this crazy and scary time. I specifically want to thank Anika Aili, my daughter Courtney, and several of the dance parents who have helped videotape dances. Thanks to them, we have been able to post videos to YouTube. This virus might keep us from meeting physically and practicing, but it CAN'T stop us from dancing. As the words to the song say, "You'll never stop me, I'm a warrior. When I fall down I get stronger. Faith is my shield, His love is the armor."

My dancers performed "I Can Only Imagine" both nights of the Father Daughter Ball at the DECC and also got to spend one of those nights with their dads. I'm so proud of these girls! I posted a video of their dance, but I'm not sure if it will go through or not.

These girls never cease to amaze me with their talents. They danced to "I Can Only Imagine" during the worship service yesterday at Christ Lutheran. I'm hoping to post a video soon.
