If you all remember, just for the dang fun of it, during Bulldog Bash we set out a Nalgene bottle and filled it about halfway with M&Ms and asked passersby to make their best guess on how many M&Ms were in there.
Well, Liam Moser came up to the table and said "Okay, there's a way to do this, if you look at the..." and he proceeded to make his calcinations.
Now, we've had people say this before. And then proceed to be NOT EVEN CLOSE.
But there something different about Liam when he was thinking. You could tell he was working on a little higher level than others. But...we were still skeptical.
Finally, he starts writing his guess. "Okay. 284."
That wasn't the *closest* guess...
..it was THE EXACT NUMBER OF M&Ms IN THE BOTTLE.
We thought that was pretty awesome. So we got Liam (who's also a BizDog living/learning community student!) a UMD car cling, a key chain, and...a big bag of M&Ms.
This is Gracie Foix. (pronounced "Foy" which we thought was cool.)
Gracie was the 3rd closest guess with 287.
Not as harrowing a story as Liam's, but she was also a delightful person and we absolutely appreciated that.
For getting 3rd, Gracie got a UMD Woman in Business sticker, a vinyl UMD Bulldogs sticker, and a box of Sourpatch Kids.
