Duluth Preschool Providing quality preschool services in eight of Duluth's public elementary schools.

Strong Bodies

-We strive to spend at least one hour outside daily to provide opportunities for children to be physically active and enjoy the benefits of time in nature.
-We work to ensure families have access to healthcare and balanced meals by offering health and nutrition services. Strong Minds

-We implement an inquiry-based curriculum that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and communication in a play-based environment led by licensed teachers.
-We prioritize inclusive practices that ensure every child and family feels a sense of belonging.
-We promote positive social/emotional skills in children and their families using a trauma sensitive lens.
-We recognize the importance of mental health and wellness, and work to destigmatize mental health support. Strong Families

- We provide advocacy, support and education to parents and caregivers.
-We partner with families to celebrate strengths and reach for goals.
-We connect families to resources in the community and to one another.
-We help to dismantle barriers that may limit access to equitable opportunities.
-We work as allies in the fight against systemic oppression to make our community a better place for families of young children.

All of our sites have opportunities for nature play away from the school playgrounds in school forests, green spaces or nature playscapes. Nature play gives children more opportunities to use their imagination, dig in the dirt, climb and walk on different surfaces like logs and rocks, & so much more!
