MPSA members in Duluth took a break from studying for finals last week to preform blood glucose checks at Pancake Day! Thank you to Operation Diabetes and The Duluth Lions Club for making this happen! 🥞

MPSA has been invited to join an interprofessional health fair in Duluth in collaboration with the School of Medicine and College of Veterinary Medicine for pets and their owners. This includes a short training session on trauma informed care on Friday, May 29th with a clinic on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st. We will be providing point of care testing for pet owners and anyone else in the community! 🐶🐱

Operation Reproductive Health hosted a booth at the Women’s Expo in Duluth this weekend. They focused on providing point of care testing (blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol and bone density) to the attendees of the event. It was a great way to connect with the public and get more experience interacting with patients!

Yesterday many students were able to visit the capital for Legislative Day! Pharmacists, student pharmacists, and technicians met with state legislators to discuss key priorities in pharmacy. Thank you to all participants for advocating for the pharmacy profession!💊🥼
