Enchanted Forest Child Care is located on 10 acres near the end of the Lester River Road in Lakewood Township in Duluth. EFCC is owned and operated by Joyanna Yorde. Joyanna resides on premise with her husband Blake, daughter Flora, Newfoundland dog Finley, two outdoor kitties named Copper and Cooper, and too many chickens and ducks to count. Gorgeous day for a walk under the magic canopy drive way! Had to take a pit stop to play in "the sandbox"!
*Also, do you spy Copper, the official EFCC mascot? He never turns down a walk with his friends!
Fun fact, when we first looked at buying this house in 2018, it was fall and all the trees were BRIGHT orange and red. It was absolutely MAGICAL, and right at golden hour. I knew instantly that this was our home and knew that I would name the future daycare that would take over the lower level "Enchanted Forest" right after seeing the stunning wooded driveway.

Check out how we got crafty this Halloween with minimal supplies! 🎃
*For a no-mess art project for younger kiddos, putting paint (let them pick the colors) on a piece of paper inside a plastic bag and taping it to a table and letting them finger paint, is a super fun craft!
*Saving toilet paper rolls and creating little creatures makes for a fun and super creative activity for older kiddos(& me😆).

We collected colorful leaves on our nature walk today, and talked about all the different colors in nature! 🎨🍁🍃🍂
Tip: 🧐I-Spy makes for a great activity while outside to work on colors as well as a ton of other important skills such as attention regulation, & following directions!
