The Duluth community is lucky to have had such an exceptional role model, leader & Teacher at the heart of Congdon Creek Preschool for the past three decades - and still counting! An incredible legacy of dedication & servitude, indeed.

Yesterday, we brought in lunch for the Teachers + Aides while parent volunteers sat with the kids - giving our amazing staff a little break 💖

And today we’re sending them home with self-care goodies to help them through these last 2 weeks of school! 🌟

What a special place Congdon Creek Preschool is - and what a wonderful, safe learning environment these incredible Educators provide for our children. From all of us parents, THANK YOU CCP STAFF! 💕 We appreciate you so much.

Day 2️⃣ of 🌟 Teacher Appreciation Week 🌟

Today is all about treats + sweets! We brought in the staff’s favorite goodies to help make this last stretch of the school year a bit easier 😅🫶🏼

🌟It’s Teacher Appreciation week 🌟 and while every day we feel grateful for the staff here at CCP, we wanted to make sure they felt extra celebrated this week!

So us parents are sneakily taking over this account to showcase the incredible humans who take such good care of our families, year-round! 📚 We are so lucky for their care, guidance + expertise! 💕

(And BIG thanks to everyone who has donated towards this weeks’ TREAT fund for our teachers! We were able to kick off the week by surprising them with some much deserved caffeine this morning! ☕️)

Yesterday we had some very special helpers at school: The UMD Women’s Soccer Team! ⚽️

🎃 We had so much fun carving pumpkins together and are VERY GRATEFUL for all their hard work helping to put finishing touches on the playground!

(More Thank Yous + photos to come of the playground - because WHOA, we feel so thankful for all the volunteers that have put SO MUCH time into the last few weeks 🥹)

The Playground Renovation is underway! 🛝

We are SO thankful for all the donations, volunteers + help with fundraising over the past year to get us to this point! A special thank you to the Duluth 1200 Fund, who we were lucky to receive a large grant from earlier this Fall +helped push us past the finish line on our fundraising goal! 💰

Miss Patti, her family & volunteers started emptying / cleaning the playground space over the last week and parent volunteers starting putting the new play-set together yesterday afternoon (BIG Thank You to Radek, Mila, Will, Maggie, Ronan + Alder’s parents!)

✨ A Heartfelt Thank You ✨

This morning we had the joy of hosting our annual Grandparents Tea - and what a special celebration it was! 💕

Our preschoolers sang some sweet songs to kick off the morning, then spent time enjoying snacks and fun activities with their grandparents / special guests. Together they made bracelets, colored, played games and proudly showed off their school spaces (including their lockers!)

We also held a used book sale, and it warmed our hearts to see so many grandparents purchasing books to take home and share with their grandchildren📚💖

We are so grateful for the love, support and presence of all the family members who joined us today. Thank you for helping us celebrate the incredible bond between grandparents and grandchildren - your involvement means the world to our little learners and to our school community 🌿✨
