Small Towns, Big Impact: Rural Medicine Panel Discussion

It was an inspiring day for our clinical students last week! We were honored to host a panel of four dedicated rural PAs (and alums) who joined us for Call Back Day to share the realities and the rewards of practicing medicine in our rural communities.

While their backgrounds vary, their message was the same: practicing in a small town offers professional fulfillment and a depth of patient connection that is truly one of a kind. Our students got a front row seat to what life looks like when your office is the heart of a community.

A big thank you to Paige Kane, Taylor Pilger, Abby Dingmann, and Jake Dalberg for taking the time to mentor, inspire, and challenge our students to think about where their white coats can take them!

As we celebrate the graduation of our PA Medicine Class of 2025, we extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated preceptors who have guided, challenged, and inspired our students throughout their clinical education. This milestone reflects not only the hard work and perseverance of our graduates, but also the invaluable mentorship that shaped their growth into compassionate, competent clinicians. We are immensely proud of all they have achieved throughout their training. We look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and in the PA profession as they move forward into their careers.
