Absolutely DIGGING recent training of CFI (flight instructor) students on full down autorotations! 🤘 🚁 - Full down autorotation practice is used to simulate a helicopter engine failure. Using altitude and airspeed, we can manipulate a descending glide in order to maintain rotor RPM and make a safe, controlled landing. To the spo-o-o-ttt! 🎶
