Hello folks! Mushroom season is just getting started and we know you want get out and explore!

Unfortunately our team of leaders has found this year to be extremely tough for our schedules. Due to this, we are desperate for some regular volunteers that are willing to host walks or other events. You do not need to be a mushroom expert by any means, but enthusiastic about learning about mushrooms with other people is a requirement!

I(Ariel) can provide behind the scenes support/social media/iNaturalist/etc, but I will be lucky if I can make to even 1 or 2 events this year unfortunately.

Well the camera guy stayed for the whole foray and really enjoyed himself. Thank you to everyone that made it out and helped put this together! It was a great day foraging and learning about our local fungi. With today's rain the next week should be great mushroom hunting!

Fun Fungi Foray: Lake Superior Mycological Society gathers at Hartley Nature Center Sunday at Hartley Nature Center some mushroom enthusiasts gathered for their first foray of the season.

Hello all! Today a couple of us organizers met up and came up with some very exciting ideas for the group this year. We are planning our first meeting of the year for June 12! We will have an event page made within the next couple weeks after we finalize a few details. Very excited to get out there with all of you soon!

Hello folks! Mushroom season is coming soon and we are so excited to see you all soon for some forays! We are looking for volunteers to help this little hobby group run smoothly! If you are interested in leading forays, social media management, organizing events/meetups please send a message! I have some fun ideas for some things this year and will definitely need some help!
