Last Tuesday, our freshmen were officially welcomed into their new houses! 🏠 SMA’s house system brings students in grades 9–12 together in four groups, where they’ll remain throughout high school. Through daily meetings, service projects, friendly competitions, and shared experiences, students will build lasting friendships, school spirit, and a strong sense of community. We’re excited to see our newest house members grow together over the next four years! 🎉

👵👴 Earlier this month, Stella Maris Academy joyfully welcomed grandparents and special friends to all four campuses! Guests joined us for Mass, classroom activities, campus tours, and special time with their students. 💙✨

🌲 Our seventh graders had an unforgettable trip and retreat at Camp Phillips earlier in the month! From team-building activities to exciting challenges, students strengthened friendships, stepped outside their comfort zones, and reflected on their life and faith journeys. 🙏✨ We loved hearing about the meaningful memories and adventures they brought home! 💙

The St. John’s and High School campuses are closed today due to a boil-water advisory and the resulting lack of potable water for students and staff.

All after-school activities at both campuses are canceled, except for the tennis match, which will proceed as scheduled.

⚽️🏆 What a weekend for Stella Maris Academy soccer boys and girls!

Our U10 boys went 3–0 at the Chequamegon Bay Tournament in Ashland, scoring an incredible 14 goals while allowing just one! 🔥🥅

Beyond the results, we’re especially proud of the teamwork, friendships, and sportsmanship shown throughout the tournament. Before their own game, the boys made a point to wish our U10 girls good luck; a wonderful example of the Stella Maris Academy spirit! 💙💛

From cheering each other on to grilling and sharing laughs between games, it was a memorable weekend for our players, coaches, and families. Congratulations to all our Stella Maris athletes! 🎉👏

As Stella Maris, Star of the Sea, Mary is our protector and guide, leading us always to the heart of her Son, Jesus Christ. On this special feast day, we join our students in the prayer they offer each day: 🙏

It was wonderful to welcome students back for the first day of school across all Stella Maris Academy campuses. From reconnecting with friends and teachers to settling into new classrooms and routines, each campus was filled with excitement and joy. We’re grateful to begin another year of learning, growing, and living out our faith together.
