We have 10 butterflies so far. 4 more need to emerge from their chrysalis. Thank you to Isla and her family for babysitting them over the weekend while I was out of town.

We found a tree that had snapped off. Upon further inspection, we discovered all kinds of bug trails. Then we noticed holes, some big, some small, where a woodpecker had been biting into the tree for tasty meals.

Lots of questions…observations…and conclusions…they never cease to amaze me ❤️
