Hornets support hornets! If you’re interested in donating in memory of Jasmine, all donations can be made on Venmo or at the school!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the recent loss of Jasmine Chadwick, a 10th-grade student at Dixie High School. Jasmine’s guardian, Vicky Thompson, also lost her life in this accident, and Vicky’s husband, Mario Thompson, was severely injured along with their son and daughter-in-law. This tragedy has deeply impacted not only our school but the entire Due West community.
Jasmine has a brother in the 8th grade at Dixie High School, who was also being raised by the Thompson family. Though he was not involved in the accident, he now faces unimaginable loss and is being cared for by his extended family.
In response, Dixie High School’s Interact Club and Student Council are collecting donations to support the Chadwick-Thompson family during this difficult time. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and provide much-needed financial support during this trying time.
We ask that you please join us in showing love and support for this family by contributing to this cause. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as the family navigates this time of loss and recovery.
How to Donate:
Donations can be made directly to Dixie High School or through Venmo . Please mark all Venmo payments “Chadwick-Thompson Family”. Cash, check or debit/credit donations will be accepted in the DHS front office.
