🎺 Marching Band & Illusion Updates! 🥁

Unfortunately, the weekend weather canceled the Marching Band's very first competition of the season. The band continues to work hard and are looking forward to better weather and a great performance next weekend at the MICCA competition in Auburn. ☀️🎶

Meanwhile, Illusion officially kicked off learning their new show with an intense, long weekend of choreography! The team worked hard all weekend long mastering the routines for their first two songs, wrapping it all up with a fantastic preview for families. 💫👏

Thank you to all our wonderful parents, staff, and supporters for your continuous encouragement! Let's wish both groups the best of luck as they prepare for the weeks ahead! 🎼✨

Ok, this is a BIG post, but our music students and families have been SUPER busy over the last 24 hours! 🎶💙
🎤 Shout-out to our amazing music students!
The chorus did a beautiful job singing the National Anthem this morning before the Charlton OHD Race, and the marching band was absolutely fantastic during their first parade of the season! We LOVE watching you all perform, and we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you!
🙌 Our music families have been volunteering up a storm!
Last night, we had volunteers at Gillette working the Bruno Mars concert. Yesterday, parents were busy setting up for the OHD Race, and this morning, SO many amazing volunteers showed up bright and early to help with the race!
And what’s even more incredible? Some of our parents did BOTH — worked the concert last night (and didn’t get home until late!) and then got up early to help with the race this morning! Talk about dedication! We are so lucky to have such an incredible music family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! ❤️
💙 And a huge thank-you to our sponsors!
Without your support, we could not do all of the amazing things we do for these kiddos. We appreciate you more than you know!
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, everyone, and let’s get ready for a PHENOMENAL season of music at SH! 🎶🥁🎺

Hello music families,

We are still in need of some help handing out waters at the Old Home Day Race this Sunday. Please take a look at the times available and see if you could possibly help out. This is a great community event and we want to make sure we have enough hands on deck to help out. Thank you.
