2026 Surf Rescue Staff

On Sunday, we traded our swimsuits for button-downs and dresses as we gathered for our staff banquet. It was a chance to recognize our guards for their hard work, diligence, and commitment to keeping our beaches safe.

We’re extremely proud of this team and grateful for the professionalism, teamwork, and countless hours they put in to protect our community and beachgoers every day.

Here’s to the 2026 OBX Surf Rescue staff!!

2026 SALA Regional Lifeguard Championship
📍Jacksonville, Florida

Surf Rescue placed 5th overall in the Small Beach Division at the South Atlantic Region Lifeguard Championship. GREAT JOB TEAM!!

Congratulations to all competitors!! Thank you Jacksonville Beach Lifeguards for hosting!! Thank you South Atlantic Lifesaving for running a great two day competition!

1st place - Men’s Rescue Race: Brock, Patrick, Teagan, and James

Regionals is being hosted in Jax Beach, FL. Competition will start Wednesday, July 15th and run through Thursday, July 16th.
