Our Redeemer Lutheran Preschool

We have openings yet in all four sessions of preschool that we offer. There is still plenty of time to get registered before school starts in late August.

We offer four sessions of preschool. Two-day programs for children who are 3-years-old by September 15, 2026. Mon. and Wed. 8:40-11:25 a.m. or Tues. and Thurs. 8:40-11:25 a.m. Tuition is $150 per month. There is a one time $50 registration fee and a one time $100 snack fee due at registration. Please ask if you need scholarship assistance for tuition. Three-year-old children must be potty trained!

Four-day programs are available for children who are 4-years-old by September 15, 2026. Mon-Thurs 8:30-11:30 a.m. or Mon.-Thurs. 12:30-3:30 p.m. There are no fees for this program since it is funded by the state of Iowa Preschool Grant Program.

The weather this week wasn’t the best for the morning class. Instead of our trip to the Arboretum we stayed at the school to play, watch a Paw Patrol movie, and eat Puff Corn. Yesterday was water day and while it was chilly 🥶 they all braved the cold and squirted water!

Yesterday was beach day however it was a little chilly outside so most of our activities were indoors. Either way, the afternoon kids had fun!

The afternoon class was able to go to Marshall Park and explore the Arboretum yesterday. We had a wonderful afternoon. The kids enjoyed playing, going for a walk, feeding the fish, and having snack outside.

We had an indoor picnic one day since it was raining. We also read a story about why we are special. We are all special for many reasons but most importantly because God made us!

Thank you to the parent reps who planned such wonderful fundraisers that allowed them to shower our staff with very thoughtful gifts this week.

Thank you parents and grandparents who supported all of these fundraisers to raise money for gifts for our staff.

Thank you to our preschool board who also provided lunch for us on Tuesday & for the treats.

It was a great Teacher Appreciation Week for all of us. Blessings to all of you!!

We made boats out of clay last week when learning about transportation. The children then guessed how many little bears their boat would hold before it sunk. One boat held 12 bears!
