From concept to design, six digital art and design students beautifully captured the spirit of our Spartans community in a mural today at the The Great Draw Street Art Competition – and won FIRST PLACE for Team Adults 🏆

Developed in response to labor market demand in organizational effectiveness, consulting in human resources, and workplace leadership, the new program will prepare students for professional service, leadership, and transformation in the workplace.

The master of arts in industrial and organizational psychology is part of a broader UD effort to develop academic programs at the intersection of student opportunity, workforce demand, and community need.

John Tinker (C'14) is helping soldiers perform at their highest level as a Brigade Human Performance Advisor through TIAG, supporting the U.S. Army. He also serves as the Alaska State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association. One of his proudest career moments has been serving as the Installation Lead Strength Coach for the 1st Brigade, 11th Airborne Division and giving back to those who serve our country.

During his time at the University of Dubuque, John was a member of Mu Sigma Beta fraternity and served as a resident assistant. Looking back, his advice to current students is to invest in relationships and build professional connections because "this big world tends to be a lot smaller than you think."
