Come and hear the 2024 Iowa Teacher of the Year speak on G.R.A.C.E. (Growth mindset, Relationships, All means all, Celebrate, Evolve) 🍎📚

This movie tells the story of Barney, a middle-schooler and Ron, a robot who is supposed to be his “Best Friend out of the Box.” It’s storyline focuses on the impacts of social media as well as the theme of true and authentic friendship. (PG)

This past week the Loras Education club was invited to put together a Ofrenda for Dias de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead). We chose to honor and remember those who have passed away due to gun violence in elementary, middle, and high schools in the USA.

As we start the 2023-2024 school year we want to take a moment to congratulate those who graduated in 2023. We wish them all the best as they start their careers as educators. 💜💛

Dr. Smith has recently been awarded the Campus Compact Presidents’ Community Award for her partnership and work with St. Columbkille Elementary School. We appreciate her collaboration to create a professional development school that is beneficial for Loras College Elementary Education students and has a positive impact on the St. Columbkille’s School community. 🥳🥳🥳

Yesterday was Advisor Appreciation Day and we just want to thank Dr. Welsh for all that she has done for Education Club. She has organized speakers, helped brainstorm ideas, brought the pizza, and so much more. Most importantly she has taken time out of her own scheduale to help us reboot Education Club at Loras. It could not of been accomplished without her help and guidance!🥳
