‘We’re always going to need pilots:’ University program trains the next generation of pilots The University of Dubuque’s aviation program is set to have a record incoming class this fall totaling about 500 students.

plans to invest in a significant expansion of the Edward Babka Aviation Learning Center to support exponential growth in aviation enrollment. Proposed efforts include:

• A 15,000-square-foot addition to the learning center
• A parking lot expansion
• A 59,000-square-foot expansion of the flight ramp
• Additional hangars adjacent to the learning center
