Due to the forecasted winter storm, Loras College campus operations will be closed Monday, March 16. Classes and all scheduled activities are canceled. Please check your school email for any updates or additional instructions.

After their first year at Loras, students choose where they want to live in a housing lottery process. All students are granted a random sign up time based on the number of credits they have completed plus the number of credits they are currently enrolled in (including May Term). We know that Duhawks are excited to get their winter break started Thursday after their last final! Please note that the Dubuque area is anticipating some potential winter weather Thursday afternoon and evening. Students who need to extend their stay in the residence halls beyond Thursday night at 10 p.m. due to weather should visit https://loras.erezlife.com/ and complete a stay late request form so that they may continue to access their building until they can safely depart.

Snow and freezing rain will affect the state Thursday. In zone A, the highest snowfall amounts (up to 4") will fall. In zone B, freezing rain will mix with the snow. Ice accumulations may be up to 0.1". Black ice and slick roads will be possible.
