Clarke University's Sustainability Committee meets from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, on the last Wednesday of eve

At Clarke we see responsible stewardship of the earth and its resources as an integral part of its core values of freedom, education, charity and justice, as well as our Catholic identity.

APRIL 22–28
MONDAY/April 22
Free Compost for your home – bring a container from home and stop down by the Facilities shop between 4-5 pm to have it filled with compost for free.

TUESDAY/April 23
Win a Prize – visit the sustainability info booth in the cafeteria between 11:00am-1:00pm. Stop by to share ideas or just sign up to win!.

WEDNESDAY/April 24
Light Bulb Exchange – Stop by the Atrium between 11-1 and trade in your incandescent bulb from your desk lamp or home and get a new LED bulb.

THURSDAY/April 25
Stop by the Tree Campus USA booth in the cafeteria between 11-1 to find out what this award means.

FRIDAY/April 26
Arbor Day Tree Planting – Join the sustainability committee in front of the Atrium at 11:00am to help plant a campus tree in honor of Arbor Day.
