As a mother of a child diagnosed with Avoidance/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), I can attest that typical picky eating is relatively manageable compared to the complexities and challenges ARFID presents for both the child and caregiver. Having experienced parenting another child who was a picky eater, I understand both perspectives. My child underwent Food Therapy at Unified Therapy, a program that I wholeheartedly endorse. My child's experience extended beyond Food Therapy, and I have been impressed by the exceptional quality of every therapist across various disciplines.
