So proud of my wonderful students who accompanied me today at the Central Valley Marathi Mandal Ganeshotsav!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the amazing volunteers and team there who hosted us with so much love and respect and gave us a lovely welcoming platform to perform on.

After a full day of mostly dances on film songs and fast numbers, our students wowed everyone with a reimagined and rehashed energetic chorus of “Hey Gajavadana” - a composition by the brilliant Dr. Saleel Kulkarni - integrated with a Ganesha kavit (rhythmic poem) I learned from the amazing Shambhavi Dandekar SISK tai.

Thank you to our wonderful students and families who worked so hard on this challenging song, and a team of musicians from Pune who created the flawless track for us!

I cannot help but express my pride about the fact that we got the most attentive and supportive audience today, a great applause, and a big Once More at the end!

Classically rooted music shows time and again that it can stand strong on any platform if performed well!!!😍🎶
