Last weekend was our annual technique test. We played with Levels 1-5 all testing together which brought a great energy and camaraderie among the testees. I’d say it was a success. Though learning self defense should never be about a belt, the performance to earn the belt is about self defense. Those who understand that keep showing up, in class, out of class, and to test, every year. For that I am grateful and proud of the students and all those who come to support them. Kida! 👊🐨🖤

I realized I was a bad Krav daddy! I got lost in the rigmarole and never posted the pics from our Level 3/4 test!!! They say better late than never and in this case it will have to be true.

Smashed between the brutal bash techniques of L1/2 and the tactics of the advanced levels, Levels 3/4 are the creamy ground center of the Krav Oreo.

The dedication this group shows to preparing in and out of class is always amazing and shows on the mat.

Krav Maga is based on principles because no situation will ever be perfect. Perfection is not necessary, but standards met show progress toward the goal of being able to defend oneself. Ben worked very hard to achieve the standards expected of him.
