In the early 80s, as a Consulting Manager at PwC, Don Routh kept a baseball card on his desk.

Not a Hall of Famer.
Not the headline star.

Shooty Babbitt.

To Don, Shooty represented something bigger: hard work, hustle, resilience — beating the odds.

“Be Like Shooty” became a source of inspiration for Don and his team. Show up. Do the work. Outwork expectations.

That card — protected in its case for decades — remained a treasured keepsake and quiet reminder of that mindset.

And then at 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬, Don finally met Shooty in person.
He shared the story.
And Shooty signed the very card that had inspired him all those years ago.
