Instead of simply telling children what not to do, preschool teachers often help them understand what they can do instead. Clear expectations paired with positive guidance can help children practice communication, problem-solving, self-regulation, and making thoughtful choices.

Familiar routines, opportunities to practice independence, and consistent goodbyes can all help children feel more secure as they prepare for a new school year.

We are celebrating these two amazing ladies this week and all they do for TGS!

Ms. P (as her students lovingly call her) has been holding down pre-K since the very beginning! She brings so much energy, love, excitement, and yummy homemade food for the staff 😋. She is one of the best of the best and we are so thankful for all she brings to our school and her students!

Ms. Loubna is basically our helper of all helpers! She is the definition of "support staff", always supporting wherever needed! Need someone in a classroom? She's there. Need an extra set of hands? She's there. Need help somewhere nobody even thought to look? She's probably already there 🤣.

We are beyond thankful for these two and all they bring to our school, the classrooms, and their coworkers! Happy 1 year, here's to many more! ❤
