Dublin City Schools is the 9th largest district in the State of Ohio. The district enrolls more than 16,000 students and employs more than 2,500 staff annually. The district, which is one of the fastest-growing districts in the region and is projected to grow by 270 students annually through 2032, crosses three Ohio counties - Franklin, Delaware, and Union and includes parts of Dublin, Columbus, H

illiard, and Upper Arlington. In fact, more than 40% of DCS' students reside outside of the City of Dublin. The Dublin City Schools student body represents more than 100 countries and speaks more than 70 different languages. Introducing our Outstanding Service Award winner for the Dublin City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2026: Dr. David Axner (Superintendent, 2006–2013)! 💚

As Superintendent, Dr. Axner guided Dublin City Schools through significant growth, successful levies, and facility additions while fostering a culture of wellness, care, and compassion. Known for his hands-on leadership and unwavering presence, he made a large district feel like a close-knit community—mentoring leaders, supporting staff and families, and celebrating alongside students. Today, he and his wife, Chris, remain active Dublin volunteers and champions for our schools! ✨

Introducing another one of our Young Alumni Achievement Award winners for the Dublin City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2026: World Champion sprinter Abby Steiner (Coffman High School, Class of 2018)! ☘️⚡

Abby attended the University of Kentucky, where she became one of the most dominant sprinters in track & field history. A 15-time All-American, 2022 U.S. 200m Champion, and winner of The Bowerman (collegiate track's highest honor), Abby holds multiple American, NCAA, SEC, and school records. On the international stage, she is a 2-time World Champion gold medalist! 🥇

Introducing one of our Young Alumni Achievement Award winners for the Dublin City Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2026: Olympian Oyesade “Sade” Olatoye (Coffman High School, Class of 2015)! ☘️🇳🇬

A three-time state champion at Coffman, Sade continued her remarkable career at The Ohio State University, where she became an NCAA National Champion, nine-time First Team All-American, and seven-time Big Ten Champion in track & field. On the global stage representing Team Nigeria, Sade is the African record holder in the weight throw and hammer throw, a 6-time Nigerian National Champion, and 2024 Paris Olympian—solidifying her place among the world’s elite throwers! 🤩
