PRE-COLLEGE ART CLASS

Pre-college art class at Art2D3D School is geared toward high school students and college transfer students who are preparing a portfolio for entrance to top art colleges and art programs within universities.

Art teachers at Art2D3D School have extensive experience helping beginner, intermediate, and advanced students to prepare their portfolios for entrance to top art colleges nationally.

Former college preparation students at Art2D3D School have gained entrance to top private art colleges and have earned significant scholarship and financial aid packages from colleges. Every senior high school student at Art2D3D School has worked on an individual basis and has received significant scholarship and financial aid from colleges.

DIGITAL ART CLASS

Increasingly, technology has been recognized as a useful and valued tool for helping in the creative process. In addition, it is an emerging new medium ripe for exploration and experimentation.

Digital art class at Art2D3D School offers great opportunity for students to learn digital art lessons using high-tech graphic tablets and Adobe Creative Cloud software, and serves to highlight the important relationship between traditional art and digital technology, and how each stands to enrich the other.

Students in this class learn how to create digital brushstrokes while understanding visual characteristics. Students will work on digital art projects ranging from manga and anime, illustration, digital sketching, cartooning and character design, fashion design, landscape painting, photo-paintings and more.

FINE ART CLASS

Fine Art class at Art2D3D School engages and inspires the next generation of creative leaders by providing intensive, in-depth art experiences to visually talented and motivated elementary, middle, and high school students from 4 to 18 years old.

Since 2010, this class has offered concentrated studies in two-dimensional art that include studio practices in drawing, painting, and mixed media.

SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Yanping Lu is an Artist, Computer Graphic Designer, Art Instructor, and Principal at Art2D3D School.

Mrs. Lu was born in Shanghai and raised in Wuhan, China. She received her BFA degree in fine art from Hubei Institute of Fine Art (HIFA), which is one of 8 top art colleges in China. After working at a large company for several years in China, she decided to go to Japan to study manga and anime. She spent first 4 years as an art instructor at Shiga University. She later moved to Tokyo where she spent next 2 years studying at Chiba University. Finally, she moved to Sendai. It was there, she spent another 2 years studying at Tohoku University and receiving her MA degree in educational informatics. Her exhibitions have ranged from China to Japan and the US. Her works have been purchased by collectors in China, Japan, and the US.

Mrs. Lu has come to the US for more than 10 years. She opened her Art2D3D School in Dublin, Ohio in 2010.

ABOUT US

Art2D3D School was founded in Dublin, Ohio in 2010 by Mrs. Yanping Lu. Now, Art2dD3D School has become a recognized leader in art education for youth and teens in Ohio.

Art2D3D School offers high-quality lessons of fine art, digital art, and pre-college art for students age 4 to 18 years old. Students at Art2D3D School learn traditional art lessons (drawing and painting) and digital art lessons (computer graphic, illustration, fashion, animation, interaction designs). Each student receives personal attention from art teachers.

All students at Art2D3D School have opportunities to submit their artworks for art shows and art contests every year. Until 2016, students at Art2D3D School have won more than 400 awards from national and international art contests. As results, a number of students at Art2D3D School have been admitted by top art colleges and top universities in the U.S. each year.
