📢 A Little Temporary Closure for Some BIG Improvements! 📢

The Dublin Public Library will be closed to the public from Friday, October 9 through Tuesday, October 27 while we complete important interior renovations and technology infrastructure improvements.

These improvements are made possible through the Library Infrastructure and Facility Improvement (LIFI) Grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC). 💻📚

We’re excited to use this opportunity to make our library more functional, connected, and ready to serve our community for years to come!

While the library is closed:
📚 Most regular programs will take a short break
💻 Staff will continue professional development and continuing education
📅 Checkout dates will be extended
❤️ No fines will accrue during the closure

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work behind the scenes to improve YOUR library!

We can’t wait to welcome you back and show you the improvements! 🛠️✨

Thank you for supporting the Dublin Public Library! 📖💙

Funding is provided through the American Rescue Plan Act – Capital Projects Fund (ARPA-CPF), administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Take a look at some of the Tarleton State OTD students you’ll see at the library tomorrow! They’ll be helping with games, activities, and hands on experiences that encourage communication, problem solving, taking turns, following directions, and working together all while having fun.

Pokémon Club is about more than just the cards or the game. It’s about giving kids a chance to have fun, connect with others, and learn along the way. We hope you’ll join us at 4PM tomorrow.

Thursdays just got better at the library!

Homeschool families, please join us at 11:00AM for library learning labs. We’re especially excited to have Tarleton State University Occupational Therapy students joining us to facilitate games, crafts, and hands on learning activities. Their support helps children practice skills such as communication, problem solving, participation, creativity, and working together while having fun.

If you homeschool, this is a great opportunity to add something different to your week, meet other homeschool families, and make use of the library as a place for learning beyond books.

This program was made possible thanks to a grant from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health.

Don't forget that we’ll also have a monthly STEM Day with the Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District.
