Our fourth grade students did a phenomenal job presenting the ”Gold Dust or Bust” musical to all of our TK-5th graders yesterday. Special thanks to our fourth grade team for organizing this and to our students for their hard work.

Today we celebrated Read Across America day. Special thanks to all our guest readers, including the therapy dogs and their owners from the Valley Humane Society, City of Dublin, CA - Government Mayor Melissa Hernandez, and firefighters from the Alameda County Fire Department.

Mrs. Catherine Brown was recognized this morning by the Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative at their 24th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellowship Breakfast. Mrs. Brown was recognized for her efforts in furthering the principles of character, unity and inclusive leadership that honor the late civil rights leader. This includes her work with the Girl Scouts, co-organizing our annual Veterans Day Ceremony, and spearheading "One City, One Book." She was also recognized by Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez, Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley, and a representative from the office of State Senator Steve Glazer, among others. Congratulations, Mrs. Brown on this well-deserved honor!
