What a fun and meaningful Career Fair. ❤️
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers who took time out of their day to share their work, stories, and real-world experience with our Eagles.
Our learners heard about so many different paths, including architecture and the history of the Pentagon, construction and the trades, Honda manufacturing and engineering, BEVs, IT, marketing, medicine, optometry, patent review, quality assurance, trigger points and massage, and what it looks like to build and lead a business.
They asked thoughtful questions, made connections, and got to see how many different ways there are to build a life, solve problems, and contribute to the world.
We especially loved the hands-on moments, including the legendary peanut butter sandwich quality assurance challenge. 😂
It was a small but mighty group of Eagles, and we’re confident they walked away with new ideas, new vocabulary, and a wider picture of what’s possible.
There is something powerful about young people hearing honest stories from real adults: the path they took, the skills they use, the surprises along the way, and the lessons they learned by doing the work.
Thank you again to every parent who showed up and poured into our learners.
We’re already looking forward to doing this again.

The goal isn’t just to “use AI.”
The goal is to understand it.
How does it work?
Where can it help?
Where does human judgment still matter?
What questions should we be asking before we trust the answer?
Our learners are growing up in a world where AI will touch nearly every field.
We want them to be thoughtful, curious, and capable enough to use it with wisdom.

A child’s environment shapes so much more than their schedule.
It shapes how they see themselves.
How they solve problems.
How they respond to challenge.
How much ownership they are willing to take.
At Acton, learners are trusted with freedom, responsibility, movement, real work, and space to grow into who they are becoming.
For the right child, that kind of environment can unlock something powerful.

During Quest, our Eagles have been exploring what makes a strong logo and how design can help a business stand out.
Austin came in to share his experience with side gigs, creating logos, earning money, and finding opportunities in the gig economy. He challenged the Eagles to think about their own niche, what they’re good at, and how they could start using those skills to create value now.
The big takeaway?
Entrepreneurship can start earlier than most people think.
It begins with noticing what you can offer, learning a useful skill, solving a real problem, and being brave enough to put your work out there.
Thank you, Austin, for inspiring our Eagles to think creatively about business, design, and what’s possible.
Keep Learning
The Eagles are already figuring out how to use it, what they can make with it, and how it can support their projects!
Can’t wait to see what they build next.

The goal is bigger than getting through school.
It is raising capable young people who can think clearly, make decisions, solve problems, follow through, and navigate real life with confidence.
That’s the bigger picture.
What kind of person do you hope your child becomes?
What skills will matter most when they step into the real world?
Childhood, the way it’s meant to be. ♥️
Rain on their faces.
Muddy shoes.
Full-body play.
Big laughter.
The freedom to run, explore, imagine, and be fully themselves.
No rush to stay perfectly clean.
No pressure to make play look a certain way.
Just children being children.
